Read the narration at the bottom of the page for more information on the Trapeze.

The newest offering from Slope Soarer is the highly aerobatic Trapeze.  The Trapeze combines a full-throw elevator with a full-throw rudder allowing for an almost infinite variety of aerobatic combinations.  Designed to perform in a medium altitude aerobatic box, the Trapeze can fly in light lift, but comes alive in 14-20 mph.  The airframe is strong enough to be lightly ballasted to increase airspeed and penetration.  This allows the Trapeze to enter maneuvers at higher airspeeds which can result in longer aerobatic combinations.  The Trapeze will challenge both your flying skills and your creativity by allowing you to experiment with new maneuvers and Freestyle combinations.  Bring a new level of aerobatics to your slope with the Trapeze.

Airfoil - TP42 (modified)

AUW - 12 - 26 ounces

Please note that the main wing spar consists of two CF Tubes mated together with an aluminum sleeve.  If you wish to build your Trapeze or Flow 2.0 super ultra-light, you need to request that the CF Tube be replaced with the standard CF Ribbon.  Simply leave me a note on your order or email me to request the CF Ribbon.

The Trapeze is temporarily discontinued.  It is currently being redesigned and retooled as the Trapeze 2.0.  It will be released in a few weeks.  Thanks for your patience.

The AeroGlide by Michael Richter and Steve Lange - This innovative design was probably the greatest influence on the development of the Trapeze.

The X-Centric II by “Cliff Hanger” was the first nearly symmetrical design that I had seen in flight...very inspirational,https://vimeo.com/15135646
The Buzz by Justin (don’t know his last name) was a huge motivating factor in picking up the Trapeze project and finishing it.http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1853249&highlight=aeroglid
The Fluid by “Shane” has been and continues to be an inspiration,http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1796893&highlight=aero+glide+rudder+flip
Of course, credit should be given to the whole Ultrabatic movement developed by Steve Lang and the mysterious “Swiss Peter.”http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1644313&highlight=introduc+ultrabat
If you feel I didn’t credit you or you would like to have your name included, please contact me.mailto:paigeanderson@mac.com?subject=Include%20Me%20In%20Your%20Credits
The Yoda - by Rhys Porter. Very innovative and an inspiration.http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1657493&highlight=aero+glide+rudder+flip#post21685901
